Menu Monday

What a working weekend!  Mike and I spent Saturday helping our friends clean out and tidy up their new back yard.  We know more than anyone how vital it is to have the right tools when starting a project, so we were glad we could help out with the new homeowners!

Luckily the whole day wasn’t spent working (we always seem to find ways to incorporate some funsies); we took a long break to nosh on Mellow Mushroom Pizza – one of my faves – and watch some Euro 2012 soccer before returning to the yard work.

Then, after we finished, we showered and headed out for sushi and a movie.  We opted for Rock of Ages, which if you don’t know is a musical, but really entertaining.  I don’t know how much Mike loved it, but the songs were awesome.  Lynn and I were wondering why more people weren’t belting out and singing along!

Yesterday was spent hanging out around the house, napping, biking and grilling.  A perfect end to a great, low-key weekend.
