It’s Easy Being Cheesy

 
Being married to a Cheesehead, I can tell you with confidence that Wisconsin natives take four things very seriously:  Cheese, Beer, The Packers and Taco Dip.

In order to have a proper Packer Party, you need all four.  Here is the delicious Taco Dip recipe from our Green Bay buddies Rick and Chrissey.  Enjoy!

With the defending Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers currently   10-0, it's pretty easy being cheesy!  Go Pack Go! 
 
Taco Dip

Ingredients:
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 bag shredded lettuce
  • 1 pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can black olives
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 (16 oz) container sour cream
  • 2 packets Taco Bell Seasoning Mix
Directions:
1.  Chop green pepper, onion and tomatoes, set aside
2.  Mix cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning, and spread on the bottom of a dip tray.
3.  Scatter the chopped veggies, lettuce, cheese and olives on top.
4.  Serve with tortilla chips.  Baked scoops or carrots also work well for fewer calories.
