Menu Monday

Happy Monday everybody!  I hope you all had a fantastic Easter.  Read on to catch up on all that we have been up to the past couple of weeks.

I feel like soooo much has been going on since I checked in last! I was on Spring Break for about 10 days, all of which we spent staying at my mom's house while we worked on our fixer upper that we call The Inheritance Project.  About 90% of the time it was all work and no play for me and Mike, but we did squeeze in a little, teeny bit of fun.

My people on Easter Morning at church with Gransie.  :)

I don't know what we would have done without our family.  It definitely takes a village when it comes to our kiddos and we had the best.  Between my mom, Nana and Aunt Janie, our little ones were well taken care of and actually didn't miss us a bit as we were working all day and night.

Aunt Janie invited Everett over to dye eggs at her house (right next door to my mom's house) and then we ate Easter lunch there also.  It was deeeelish.

Hilty tried the banana pudding and LOVED it...until she had a pretty severe reaction to it.  I'm thinking maybe the eggs?  We won't be trying those for a long, long time.  I am happy to report that she is doing great and her scare only lasted a few hours (which felt like days).

One of the mornings last week I actually didn't go in to work on the house at the crack of dawn and took my handsome dude for a donut date and then to the playground.  He's growing up soooo fast.

Hilty is also growing like a weed and while we were away for Spring Break decided that she was ready to be a big girl and started sitting completely independently, clapping to Pat-a-cake, sitting up from laying down and even trying to pull up on things.  This little lady it ready to move!

Everett got completely spoiled (in a good way) at Gransie's house.  He says he can do things there that aren't normally allowed "because it's special ".  Between eating shredded cheese on top of the counter and running in the backyard naked, I can tell you that he had a great time and can't wait to go back this weekend.

This week is back to the grind with another trip to Palatka to keep working on the house this weekend.  I will do a full update this week so you can see the progress we have made on our fixer upper.

Until then, this is our menu:

M:  Veggie and Black Bean (Baked) Quesadillas
T:  Crock Pot Creamy Chicken Stew
W:  Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry w/ Brown Fried Rice
Th:  Meatball Baked Potatoes w/ Green Beans

Have a great week!
