Menu Monday

Howdy y’all.  I hope this past weekend found you all having a great time with some of your best friends.  I know mine did and it was spectacular.  We laughed, ate, drank and laughed some more.  We were all so happy to have Kate visiting from Colorado and wanted to soak up every minute with her!
Friday night we found ourselves drinking some ‘ritas at Colibri Mexican Cuisine in Baldwin Park.  The food was delish and the service was much better than my first experience there.  We had a blast.  Thanks to Tuller for manning our photo shoot (below).

Saturday we were all up and at ‘em early (that tends to happen when you have little ones) and Mike, E and I headed to meet up with the gang in Winter Park.  We opted for an adventure run through the gorgeous neighborhoods near our old Rollins stomping grounds.
We alternated between running and doing some stationary exercises that were designed by a designated person at each stop.  It was a great way to take in the gorgeous, chilly weather…and I’m sure quite comical for those watching outside of their windows.

If you know us at all you probably know that after any sort of exercise food always come next!  We all headed over to the Winter Park Farmers’ Market for some fresh veggies, popcorn and bagel sandwiches for lunch.  E decided on a cherry danish from Olde Hearth Bread Company and was delighted with his choice (he ate every morsel).

After grilling out at our house Saturday night, we headed back over to Kam’s house Sunday morning for, yes, even more food…brunch!  We had a delicious spread of quiche, southwest hash browns, bacon, fresh fruit and monkey bread.  There wasn’t a thing left after we all dug in.  So good.

Our day ended with a Broncos watching party at Gators Dockside and a farewell toast to Kate.  We can’t wait to see her soon…maybe a trip to Denver is in our near future?

This week we are trying to finish up some last minute shopping (online ordering) for our Wisco family since we are staying here this year, and I am giving it my best shot to try to survive this last week of school before two weeks off…they are much needed!
We are also super stoked to host Gransie this weekend as we will be traveling to Tampa to see our beloved Packers take on the Bucs…not to mention we get to go with and sit by our best buds; Jenny, Jeremy, Lynn and Jason (all of whom are Bucs fans)!  Go, Pack, Go!
Sooooo, without further ado, here is our menu for this week…what are you eating?

M:  Chicken Cordon Blue Paninis w/ Steamed Broccoli
T:  Egg Salad Sandwiches, Carrot Chips and Yogurt Parfaits
W:  Bacon, Egg and Cheese Burgers w/ Sweet Potato Fries
Th:  Grilled Steak w/ Apple, Dried Cherry and Walnut Salad
