Menu Tuesday

This weekend was so much fun!  We headed north to my mom's house on the river for an adorable Baby Book Brunch Sprinkle thrown by my Aunt Janie.

The food was delicious and the gifts were so very much appreciated. We were showered with some amazing (girly) books that will be perfect for our new little lady. We ate, drank and were merry as we feasted on:
  • Sausage Mushroom Breakfast Casserole
  • Denver Omelette Casserole
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Cheese Danish
  • Banana Bread
  • Brownies
  • Cranberry Spritzers
The tables were girly and sweet and had stacks of books as the centerpiece.  It was the perfect get together for friends and family.

The big brother even got in on the action (he was stuffing his face with banana bread in this picture)!

The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing, chatting and exploring.  Just what both of my boys love.

Aunt Janie outdid herself again the morning after the shower and had a scrumptious spread of waffles, fried eggs and bacon for the family.  E would say, "Mmmmmm" after every bite.  He definitely approved.

Again, after breakfast it was more hanging out, which is what we all needed.  Everett definitely has an interest in anything musical and had a blast "playing" the piano.

I am headed back to work in two days and have been checking the last few things off of my summer to-do list...like pre-registering at the hospital!  Eek!  This pregnancy has flown and I can't even believe we are roughly 5ish weeks away.  So crazy!

The rest of the week finds Everett starting in his new room at daycare, continuing to do well at potty training and riding his tricycle like a big boy.  He's growing up so fast!

Here's what we're eating this week:

M:  Hot Dogs and Chips
T:  Chopped Chicken Salad
W:  Meatloaf w/ Veggie Cous Cous
Th:  Pork Tenderloin w/ Loaded Baked Potatoes and Broccoli
F:  Pesto Chicken Paninis w/ Roasted Carrots
Sa:  Pasta e Fagiole
Su:  Stuffed Shells

Have a great week!
