Menu Monday

Good morning and Happy Monday!  We had a very relaxing, yet productive weekend and I can't wait to share it with you all!

Friday night we participated in the 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Feast at my school.  The weather was perfect, the kiddos had a great time and the food was delicious.  Many of Everett's classmates came and they were so fun to watch.

Hilty was the number 1 fan of the band and could have danced all night long (she basically did).

Saturday morning we woke up and headed to the beach!  Again, the weather was absolutely beautiful and although the water was still pretty chilly, the kids had a blast playing in the sand.

After leaving the beach, we headed straight home to watch some March Madness.  Both of our teams were playing and luckily they both won...however, now they play each other on Friday night.

Believe me, it will be quite an interesting week in our household leading up to the big game and you can rest assured that the smack talk has already started!

House Divided.

Sunday was full of lounging, picking up my grocery order (BEST THING EVER), movie and basketball watching and a beautiful bike ride.  Florida winters are the best.

On the house front, we are busy getting our master bedroom redecorated.  We decided to get a king sized bed and some actual "adult" furniture.

Our walls have been painted navy (thanks Grandpa!), we picked up the dresser this weekend (hooray for a great Craig's List find), and our bed frame comes on Friday.  We are so excited at the way it is taking shape and I will have a recap of the before and after when we are finished!

With a new king size in our room, we are moving the queen that was in our room to our guest room, which also meant that we had to move the full sized bed into Hilty's room.  She's only 18 months, but we figured, why wait and have to store a huge bed for a few more months.  So...she is now in a big girl bed!  Wish us luck...

*Fun fact - this wicker bed actually belonged to my Great Grandma Hilty :)!

This week looks a bit normal with a quick trip to St. Augustine for my cousin's baby shower.  We as always will be eating well, here's our plan:

M:  Chicken Stir Fry w/ Brown Fried Rice
T: Mushroom Cheeseburgers Burgers w/ Pasta Salad
W: Taco Soup
Th:  Chicken Cordon Blue w/ Green Beans
F:  Baked Spaghetti and Chopped Salad
Sa:  Palatka - Ella's Baby Shower!
Su:  Turkey Cranberry Paninis w/ Gravy and Roasted Carrots
