Menu Tuesday

Howdy!  I am just checking in quickly before we leave for our Carolina adventure!  We are taking off for some R & R and are so excited about spending the 4th of July weekend with our friends Leigh and Kevin (and their two boys) in Charlotte before making our way to South Carolina to spend some time with my dad.  We both love the Carolina area (both North and South) and can't wait to do some exploring.  I'm sure I will be bombarding Facebook and Instagram with all of our adventures.  Stay tuned!

As for this weekend, we braved the heat and headed to Sea World for a bit on Saturday before making our way to a weekend cookout with friends.  It was brutally warm, but we had a blast and Everett loved seeing all of the animals.

E had a blast hanging out with Carson and all of the boys loved their barefoot stroll.

Sunday was spent on a mid morning date with E's main squeeze at the splash pad, a delicious Thai lunch, family nap, grocery trip and then playing with Thomas the Train.

What a difference 2 years makes!!!

Notice he and his daddy put the train tracks up in his baby sister's room? The poor girl won't have a chance...she will be inundated with boy stuff from the start!

We don't really have a menu this week - just sandwiches and leftovers...trying to clean out the fridge before we take off!  Have a great 4th!!!
